Assuming the other lines in that file do show carriage returns, I'd suggest editing the file and putting the return there....

issue is that our LEM server was created with an IP address in our DHCP range, when rebooted, the IP address changed. Thanks for your help.

You're going to have to wait for the migration to complete. The 5.7 upgrade package will fail out if you try while the migration process is running.
