On the log file, can you try specifying a specific log?  So, "D:\TomcatData\TransferProd\logs\logname.log"?

I could but I would be restricted to receiving logs from that specific day's logs.

The connector should know that is what happens, and move to the next log.  Can you try it for science?

Should there be a .txt on that path?  Looks like that's the filetype, but your Explorer is hiding extensions.

My understanding of the reader/connector is that yes, it will realize when a file closes and move to the next file.

Multiple appliances would work, but the licensing might not be worth it, and you lose out on correlations: What if "Bad Thing" is only indicated by Event A and Event B, but Event A is getting reported...

Yes/si, via email messages. You can configure LEM to send a pre-defined email message when a condition triggers, and your help desk system to automatically create a ticket when this email is received....

They actually do no rotate. We'll have to set it up so the latest log file is automatically renamed when the next day rolls around.
