I don't have access to Orion to test what comes out on the other end, but...
There is an SNMP active response connector that can be configured on the LEM. It has exactly no configuration besides the Tool Alias, so the whole "SNMP community" thing is still out there.
Now, go to your rules. You have an option to send SNMP Trap Alerts.
What does the output look like from this? I have no idea. What's the MIB for it? I don't know. How is the LEM including whatever information I picked into the SNMP trap? No clue. I haven't played with this a lot. But you could have a rule(s) looking for Internal events (the LEM logging about itself) and then have it do whatever this is, and maybe that can be a launching point for making the LEM do what you're looking for. Or just have the LEM e-mail you.
