Pretty much in at the deep end and need some help;
The system has been.. left alone for a while and I've never touched a LEM so please ELI5!
I have 4-6 LEM managers (Which I know where the physical boxes are and which offices are feeding into them) with various locations feeding into them. Agents are install on the majority of desktops - Can I verify if a desktop doesn't have an agent installed?
I've got a few analysts who will be using LEM for generating reports, only I don't know where to find out how many events I'm getting per day - how do I find out a simple answer?
I need to provide the analysts with terminals to generate reports and do what ever they need to, so my 2 options are;
Provide them each with a thick client
Set up a VM (using existing compute) for each analyst to RDP via a thin client.
Though I'm not sure which would be best, of course needing to factor in growth of required tools.
I was going to use the install guide and going based on the 'Small, medium and large' sizing criteria for what spec machine I need but I think that's for the LEM managers?
