I think that is a Netscaler connector. I've actually just minutes ago got our Netscaler reporting on multiple failed login attempts now. It took a while to get both the Netscaler forwarding the proper information and learning how to create events/alerts, but I can spare the pain of learning for someone else if it's requested. Might be close enough to what the OP was looking for.
